The Blanca Room

This large room is full of light. It features a queen bed, a sitting area with a writing desk, a plush sofa which opens into a queen-size sleeper, and a wood-burning fireplace. (Please note that the City of Boulder prohibits the use of wood-burning fireplaces on high-pollution days. These restrictions are outside our control.) The private bath features a rain shower, a beautiful tile floor, and a pedestal sink. The room has a gorgeous rustic-oak floor and skylights that give this room a wonderful open feeling. Our most spacious room, and one of our most romantic. Satellite TV is provided.

Blanca Peak (center), elevation: 14,345 ft, flanked on the left and right by Ellingwood and Little Bear peaks, repsectively. Blanca is an impressive Mountain toward the Southern part of the Sangre De Christo range, looking over the spectacular San Luis Valley. This Valley is surrounded by tall Mountains, and the valley itself is high and enormous, at an elevation of about 7,500 feet, and covering about 8000 square miles. For comparison, the state of Connecticut is 5,543 square miles.
