Pictured at right above is Royal Arch, which is accessed from a trail between the Flatirons, starting from Chautauqua Park in Boulder. Chautauqua Park is about 1.8 miles from the Rose. The arch is somewhat hidden, but if you look carefully you will see that the rock feature shown in the the left half of the photo is an arch. You are looking toward it at an angle rather than straight toward the hole in the arch.
