The Briar Rose is a safe zone. We respect and welcome all people – whether guests, employees, or vendors – regardless of sexual orientation, ethnic background, age, religion, disability and gender. We are a gay-friendly bed and breakfast...lesbian, too.
We asked our employees to describe the workplace and this is what they said: "The atmosphere here is warm and inviting. Employees and managers alike form a family, supportive and encouraging of one another. Though there is often a lot to do, the work is approached with a light and joyful attitude."
The Briar Rose is an equal opportunity employer. We recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, veteran status, or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law. (Please be aware that the building is historic and is not currently wheelchair accessible and climbing narrow stairs would be part of most shifts.)
Our job openings are posted by placing a "help wanted" notice on the inn's sign at 22nd and Arapahoe. We hire from time to time.
