Cinnamon Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Cook time: 45 minutes
Temp: 350 F
Ingredients:
- 1 c butter
- 1 ½ c cane sugar
- 8 oz sour cream
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 2 c flour
- 1 t baking powder
- ¼ t salt
- ½ t baking soda
- 1 c walnuts or pecans, chopped finely
- 2 t cane sugar
- 1 T cinnamon
Instructions:
- Cream butter, sugar and sour cream.
- Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
- Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and then add to
creamed mixture; beat well.
- Make topping by combining chopped nuts, sugar and cinnamon.
- In bottom of well greased pan, spread 1/3 of topping mixture;
alternate batter and topping ending with batter.
- Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes
