The Huron Room

This room is upstairs in the main house at Briar Rose Bed and Breakfast.

Perfect for relaxing vacation getaways in Boulder, Colorado, the Huron Room boasts a huge tub with heated walls – an in-room hot tub for two!

Walk up an original stairway to find this secluded and romantic enclave nestled in one of the most historic parts of the house. This room has gorgeous paint, a beautiful wood bed with a high-end queen-size mattress by local Verlo Mattress Company, a loveseat, and ceiling fan. It also has a unique small antique Japanese chest (kodansu) over which hangs a lovely Japanese scroll. In an alcove by the window sits a writing desk and chair. A door opens to the private, outside balcony overlooking the front garden, with a table for two and a fair view of Boulder’s Flatirons. The bathroom features beautiful tile, a pedestal sink, oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, and a skylight. The tub has a large oval shower-curtain rod that encloses the entire tub to create a large shower. This room is named after Huron Peak, 14,012 ft / 4,271 m high, in the Sawatch Range of the Rocky Mountains.
